Before we were "Super Q"

Virginia Everett Wessinger, the oldest of the nine Everett siblings, gave the family business  Everett and Jones Barbeque its first logo 'Super Q."  Virginia tells the story that popular culture was fixated on the first Superman movie which had been released in December of 1978, and everything was super this or super that, so she thought why not “Super BBQ.”  She dropped the BBQ and settled for “Super Q” and the rest is history.
