It's a family affair Keenan Hawkins making our homemade beef links for the restaurants

I cannot tell you how much I adore this picture. My oldest son, Keenan, is making the homemade links that are served in our family restaurant, Everett & Jones BBQ.

You see, my very first job ever was at 5 years old standing at the side of the link machine helping my daddy James Jones make links for the restaurant. I was responsible for pushing the meat toward the mouth of the machine while he stood at the bottom catching them in the casing just as Keenan is doing in this picture.

That was 52 years ago!!!

Now, my son is carrying on the legacy by doing his part to ensure what his grandfather started continues...
